But it also provides plenty for those looking for outdoor activities. A fantastic 18 hole golf course, scenic walking and cycling routes through idyllic villages and around it,s numerous lakes and waterways. It is the headquarters of Emerald Star and Carrick Craft Boating and River Cruising and has some of the finest fishing in the North West.
The magnificent Adventure Park of Lough Key Forest Park is a mere 5 mins drive and is a treat for both parents and children alike.
The Aura Leisure Centre and Swimming Pool, along with Multiplex Cinema and Bowling Alley and Kids Kingdom Indoor playground insure plenty of Activities for the kids.
Carrick on Shannon is also an ideal base to visit Sligo, Bundoran, Knock, Westport, Enniskillen, Strokestown, Athlone and Galway. All being 30 mins to 1hr30 mins drive.
Hartley Lodge is TSA approved and offers excellent 3 Star Accommodation.
Hartley Lodge has 5 rooms and up to 16 Bed spaces. We offer Single/Double/Twin/Triple and Family rooms. All our rooms are En Suite with T.V and Tea/ Coffee making facilities.
All rooms are on the ground floor and guests receive a front door key on arrival.
We have ample off road secure parking.
We also have an 8 seater In House Taxi Service, ideal for Groups or couples attending late night functions.
Our prices are 30 euro per person sharing and 35 euro for a single occupancy.
Over 60's are 25 euro per person sharing and kids under 12 stay free when sharing.
We offer a discount for multiple nights stay of 3 nights or more.

Come into Carrick on Shannon and take the R280 ( SEE MAP BELOW ), travel 600 metres and turn left for Cootehall, travel another 600 metres until you reach a Y in the road, take right of Y and we are the first house on the right.
